Amar European Grocery Store is a small European grocery located on Philips Highway in a small, somewhat rather nondescript strip mall. It would be very easy to pass by, but if you are to do so, it would certainly be your loss. Amar European Grocery Store is an amazing little grocery store. They have a lot of what you won't find in a supermarket like Publix, Walmart Neighborhood Market or Winn-Dixie (not even in their international food aisle), some true European specialty items. I grabbed quite a few of their hot paprika paste. If you never had it, I definitely would recommend that you try some. I made a potato paprika soup with it and it was wonderful. They also had an interesting selection of sausage. The service here is also amazing. I mean, really amazing. The team here is extremely friendly, polite, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars.

After checked the other store, same owner (as the cashier lady told me) and only 8 minutes away, I decided to came here. Amazing! Bigger than the other store, the cheesecake ice cream that I missed from the first one, found here. More options in chocolate, drinks, ice cream... Everything organized, clean... Friendly staff. Just loved this place and I will return soon.

Really good, varied, if somewhat small Eastern European grocery store. Pretty sure the owners are Bosnian, at least the girl working there was, which is good thing but also gives you (if you know Balkan cuisines) an idea of the majority of their stock. It's mainly Bosnian, other former Yugoslav regions, Albanian, and other Eastern Euro foods--not much Russian stuff, alas. Again, not a complaint, but people who know I work in Russian-oriented journalism often will ask me with any review of European grocers, "do they have Russian foods?". So no, not so much--some, but it's mostly Balkan. And yes, they had turbofolka on the stereo. Word. That said, GREAT selection of cookies and candy, the best selection I've recently found of teas, good selection of meats and cheeses, and most everything else you'd need to cook the foods of the Balkans. *** Vrlo dobra trgovina s izborom gurmanskih sireva, kobasice, bomboni, grickalica, čokolade, začina i još mnogo toga. Vjerujem da su vlasnici Bosanci, lijepi ljudi.
